What is Youth Tour?
The Ohio's Electric Cooperatives Youth Tour is an annual leadership program sponsored by Carroll Electric. It's a week-long, all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., that gives exceptional high school sophomores and juniors the opportunity to meet with congressional leaders at the U.S. Capitol, make new friends from across the state and country, and see many of the famous Washington sights. Electric cooperatives from 43 states will send 1,600 students for the annual tour.

Applicants can either use the drop down box on the right side of this page to submit your application, or you can access a fillable PDF by clicking here. Carroll Electric will then contact our applicants to schedule an interview and share a website that teaches students about the history of cooperatives. When applicants arrive for their interviews, they will be given a short test on their knowledge of electrical cooperatives before starting their interview. Deadline to apply is February 7, 2025.
