Carroll Electric’s 2023 Annual Meeting Minutes

Members approved the 2023 Annual Meeting Minutes at the Annual Meeting on Sept. 28. Click here to view the minutes. 

Trustees Election

Co-op Ballot, an independent election services vendor, administers the election for Carroll Electric, ensuring the highest integrity of results. Co-op Ballot reports results to the Carroll Electric Cooperative staff only after all votes have been tabulated. 

This year's voting period opened Aug. 1 and closed Sept. 28 during the Annual Meeting. Members had the ability to vote online, by mail, by phone, or in-person at the Annual Meeting. There is only one vote per membership.

In addition to the trustee election, members also voted either "For" or "Against" proposed changes to the Code of Regulations. Please click here to review the proposed changes to the Code of Regulations.

2024 Annual Meeting Agenda

The Carroll Electric Annual Membership Meeting was held Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at the Carroll County Fairgrounds.

Registration opened at 8:45 a.m., followed by Q&As with board members, operations, and Right-of-Way staff. Members who had not previously voted could also vote in-person.

The business meeting began at 9:30 a.m., and the voting closed around 10 a.m. Each member who voted or attended the annual meeting will receive a $10 energy credit on November's bill. At the conclusion of the business meeting, those in attendance had the opportunity to win additional energy credits during a drawing.
