Carroll Electric is a not-for-profit cooperative owned by more than 10,000 consumer-members, committed to providing reliable and affordable energy. Founded in 1937 to electrify rural areas, we maintain over 1,480 miles of power lines in Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson, Tuscarawas and Stark counties.
Carroll Electric is governed by a board of nine trustees who are residential members of the cooperative and who represent specific districts within our service territory. Trustees follow the Carroll Electric Code of Regulations to set policy for the cooperative while adhering to four key cooperative values: accountability, integrity, innovation and commitment to community. The Carroll Electric code of regulations is available to all co-op members.
Our Mission: Carroll Electric Cooperative, Inc., dedicated to its member-owners and their communities, safely and responsibly provides reliable and competitively priced electric service on a not-for-profit basis.
